- At UBS, Richard was the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Private Asset Management (PAM) with about $300 million assets under management (AUM).
- At Merrill Lynch, Richard became one of the first financial advisers in the 1980s to be authorized to engage in Cross Currency Financing for NRAs.
- At Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Richard partnered with one of the few Section 1256 managers in the country to operate a strictly, market-neutral strategy.
Mr. Gayton started his career on Wall Street in 1985 with a Series 7 license and subsequently received a California Life Insurance license, Long Term Care license, and a Series 66 license.
As CEO and founder of LVFO, Mr. Gayton is actively engaged in planning and protecting the values and strategic objectives of high net worth individuals and their families.
Active in charitable and business organizations, Mr. Gayton has served on the board of the Salvation Army, the Food Bank of Southern California, Leadership Southern California, and as a member of the Los Angeles Committee on Foreign Relations.
